I have never seen anyone squat and do a hip circle before. He makes everything look so effortless and perfect, especially the shimmies. He is wonderful. I wish I could have him as a teacher!!!!!!

Oriental Dane/Belly dane is also social damce and in Egypt both men and women dance the same way. Just can’t see many male professional dancers. However, if you go to Egypt, you can see evrybody dance the same way. Oriental dance is NOT only for women, but men too.
To me bellydancing is such a sensual dance, that it is so strange to see a man move that way. Ignorant Americans, i know… but I guess im just not used to seeing men move their hips in that way, just seems inherently wrong to me.
