sick footage man,quick question…on those parrot fish is there a certain way to cook them? and certain ones you should shoot/shouldnt shoot.
im down here in florida and i cross paths with monster parrot fish all day long.

Got to ask. How good is Parrot fish? Never seen one speared in Florida, but years ago everyone thought Trigger fish were trash. Great video.

he’s right every place has it’s tasty fish which in most cases happen to be easier to catch than others. Plus the size of these will keep u full for days.. But remember: FRIENDS+FISH+OUZO=WIN !

damn uhu’s and omilu’s on the wide oh and lets not forget the 3 ulua’s…i do believe at one point it looked like a moana kali…not to sure but, it did look like one…all i know is that was one of the best or the best video ive ever seen…thank u for posting it now im getting all hungry for some fish and its too early in the morning 1a.m. to be exact…but yeah thank u very much

@GoldenXen , Bonica Snapper DV, it’s good as far as leak protection, bad as far as vid quality. Those cannon’s really seem like the way to go with the HD. Bonica has a new Snapper HDDV but i’m not sure on the quality.

For sure, yeah apologies for sounding like a jerk. I dont comment on videos much so i felt like experimenting by sounding like the jerks i always see comment. lol. You have a good gun, good camera and freediving skills so i am sure put in a situation where there were better fish youd be right on top of them.
Rule of thumb. Non-Floridian has no opinion on Floridian spearfishing, same things goes for Hawaii, Mexico, or any place else.
Parrot fish (or whatever you call those species of small wrasse in hawaii) dont dont need to be speared with a huge speargun. Use a hawaiian sling or a pole spear so they have at least some chance. And yes, it is possible.
Re; the criticism of the target species. Perhaps i was a bit overly critical because i dont know what kind of place you are hunting in. Apologies. Happy hunting.
I got a question for you. Why don’t I critisize the kind of fish you shoot where you live? Answer-Because I don’t know what tastes good where you live and the quality of fish. Do the same. If you don’t live there, then you probably don’t know.
